Microfinance risk management, social mission and financial performance during the Covid-19 pandemic in Uganda

Introduction: Microfinance is an economic tool promoted to extend financial services the vulnerable groups excluded from formal institutions. The Covid-19 pandemic containment measures disrupted activities of poor and made it hard for microfinance institutions (MFIs) reach out poor.
 Purpose: This paper sets investigate relationship between risk management, social mission performance MFIs during in Uganda. study objectives were management Uganda Uganda.
 Methodology: was a cross sectional that involved 53 respondents conveniently selected six (6) Central working area credit. data collected late period year 2021 using self –administered questionnaire analysed STATA 12 generate both descriptive inferential statistics.
 Results: findings revealed existence significant positive (0.88; ); (0.91; ). Collectively, predictor variables explain 85% variation (Adjusted R-squared 0.85; p<0.00).
 Recommendations: It recommended while designing strategies, focus be put on will translate attainment objective. Attempts should by policy makers help design strategies integrate dual bottom line with triple line.
